Caromb lies in the heart of the “Côte du Ventoux” vineyards and wine-cellar tours and estate visits can be organized in Caromb and the surrounding areas. Beaumes-de-Venise and its renowned muscat wine lies 6 kms from Caromb and the Rhone-valley wine-route winds through countryside and picturesque villages.

The Vaucluse is the place of prestigious festivals: the Dance Festival of Vaison la Romaine, the Theatre Festival of Avignon, the Festival of La Roque d’Anthéron, the Opera Festival of Orange, the Summer Festival of Carpentras, etc…

Many fairs and events take place in the summer.
Every second Sunday of July, Caromb holds it’s long-black fig-fair and Le Barroux boasts an apricot-fair.
Monieux celebrates its spelt wheat fair in September.
At the Paty Lake, Caromb holds a tango festival in July and in Villes-sur-Auzon there is a Jazz Festival at the beginning of August.
Malaucène invites painters to exhibit their work in the streets in August.
Concerts and exhibitions are held all year round.
On each Easter Sunday, a concert is held in the Church of St. Maurice in Caromb.

Gastronomy :
Carombs’ speciality, the “Tian de Faiou”, a dry-bean gratin is one amongst other specialities to taste. If in season, one must try truffles or figs served with fried goose-liver. The restaurants of Caromb and its surroundings will enable you to enjoy fine culinary arts.

Provence markets :
The smells and colors at summer markets are not to be beaten and in winter, markets are full of unexpected riches such as truffles, the black-diamond, which attract many connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

Christmas in Provence :
The history of the traditional Provencal Christmas table with its 13 desserts are full of symbols to be discovered. Cribs are set up in many churches and people come from far and wide to attend midnight mass.
